Teatro Politeama locates near the hotel in downtown Lisbon (baixa Pombalina) at Rua das Portas de Santo Antão and is directed by the Filipe La Féria. This theatre was projected by Miguel Ventura Terra.
The first stone was placed on May 12th, 1912 and theatre inauguration took place at December 6th, 1913 with the operetta Valsa de Amor.
